AIRSO Policy
AIRSO, with its site being
so frequently cited and heavily used, is often asked by those running
other websites if we will include links to their site from ours,
often on a reciprocal basis. Our policy is that we will not include links
to commercial third-party sites. We guard our independence vigorously.
However, if you are genuinely interested in promoting road safety, you
may well want to link to our site anyway; the website address is "http://www.airso.org.uk/".
Our members are usually more than capable of finding what they want (and will also find useful content within the Members Exclusive Area (MEA)). Nevertheless, for the benefit of visitors to our site, who may want to find related content elsewhere, we list below links to a number of road safety sites selected on the basis of their content, likely interest, and road safety aims.

- Approved Driving Instructors National Joint Council (ADINJC) - a Membership organisation for Driving Instructor Groups and Driving School Proprietors.
- Association of National Driver Improvement Scheme Providers - this Scheme provides for active participation in driver improvement courses tied to reduced punishment.
- Association Tonyman la Route Tue - a French organisation that helps road accident victims in their dealings with the judiciary, police and insurance, participating actively in improving the rights of victims of traffic accidents with the French Ministry of Transport.
- Brake - a registered charity aiming to prevent road casualties through education and campaigning, and to care for victims.
- British Horse Society - the UK's largest equestrian charity, the BHS promotes horse and rider safety, and runs the Riding and Road Safety test.
- BHS - Reporting of Equestrian Incidents - the new British Horse Society dedicated accident reporting website, was launched on 13 November. We hope that everyone who is involved in any equestrian related incident, regardless of the part they play, will go directly to the website and report their issues.
- The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) - a learned society concerned specifically with the planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of land-based transport systems and infrastructure.
- Child Car Seats - run by RoSPA, and giving useful advice on the buying, fitting and use of child car seats.
- Driving for Better Business (Part of RoadSafe) - Formally launched in April 2007, Driving for Better Business aims to recruit more organisations to champion Work Related Road Safety and engage with an ever increasing network of other employers.
